Energy Independence for All Americans

If you are here, then you must be concerned about what Mr. T. Boone Pickens calls “the largest transfer of wealth in human history.” Most likely, this wealth will go to countries that hate us. Mr. Pickens is likely working toward the biggest aid to the American economy in decades. It’s worth mentioning that the systems being installed are on American soil by Americans with American Engineers and American maintenance personnel. Get the underlying theme? AMERICAN. NG (natural gas) is largely domestic and will become more abundant for automobile use as we shut down power plant generators using NG. That means the infrastructure now in place will become main stream. I drive an NG vehicle at $1.14 per gallon. As of this post, fuel (gasoline) averages $3.80. With NG becoming more abundant cost will come down. Is natural gas safe? It’s probably safer than gasoline. But I don’t think NG is the ultimate solution. I tend to think; what’s next? This is why I am promoting solar power. American manufacturing needs to come up with a budget priced photovoltaic (solar) cell. Then we need a modular system that can be easily installed. This system must be robust and cleverly designed so that it withstands any weather. If the system does suffer damage, the parts are modular, cheap and readily available at your local hardware store. Am I dreaming? No. I am working on a design and patented system because, as far as I know, nobody else is. To sum this up, we MUST support Picken’s plan. We also must think beyond the next decade or two and begin working for the next solution. What do you think?
